Today I got to visit a few of these historic mansions on Bellevue Ave. It was really quite fascinating. Apparently all these rich people loved entertaining people with lavish parties with money they made off industries such as coal or trains like the prestigious Vanderbilts. There was a huge gap in wealth and they were able to provide themselves with luxury that one could only hope for if not imagine. I love learning about these people and how they acquired such monumental wealth. Generational wealth.
